When the opportunity arose to open a new Redoubt on The Strand, Jacob and Kelly Henderson snapped it up!

Previously Brooklyn Patio, The Redoubt now occupies 53 The Strand in Tauranga. Situated on the corner where Hamilton Street and The Strand meet, the Redoubt Tauranga is smack in the middle of the hub of the CBD.

As in Matamata and Morrinsville, owners Jacob and Kelly have brought with them a formula which celebrates the township with iconic and historical local photos and memorabilia.

Redoubt Tauranga provides a comfortable ‘at your mate’s place’ feel. Take a break from the bustling city life and pop in for a drink, Jacob and Kelly welcome contributions from locals and would love to hear your stories.

With an ever-changing seasonal menu and the full menu available all day, you won’t leave feeling unsatisfied!

The thirsty can enjoy a range of New Zealand wines and fantastic tap beers, including the Monteith’s range and international favourite Heineken.
